Bubble Paint Print Flowers

Blend science and art in this bubble paint flower lesson. After learning how to make bubble prints, students explore ways to create flowers out of the prints. Connect literature by reading Ish, by Peter Reynolds and discuss abstract or stylistic art.

I combine recycling and straw weaving in this lesson. Students learn about Isatou Ceesay, Read Rainbow Weaver, and create a straw weaving with  yarn and plarn. grades 3- 4
