Egg-citing Slime and Salt

Writer: Jessica LasaterJessica Lasater

For day 2 of three-day teaching experience

at Evergreen, we taught an easter themed lesson that tied into our emotions theme. Clients created faces on eggs to represent different emotions. Then they created sensory slime that reflected those emotions to store in them. To fit the easter theme, they also decorated some crates to store their emotional slime eggs for easier transport.

(our demo is just below)

They also created circle salt paintings.

They painted the circles with acrylic then used glue to make designs as they would see on Easter eggs. after adding salt to the glue, they used watercolors to paint the salt.

(the three stages of the demo is to the right)
